- What is its actual size and condition, and what changes would be needed?
- Can an alterations specialist assess the work and accept the fitting schedule before my wedding?

Plan the alteration work before you buy
Emerald Bridal does not offer on-site alterations. We can recommend seamstresses across Sydney; ask the seamstress to confirm the scope, quote and fitting schedule for your gown.
Ask the specialist to assess the actual gown rather than assuming it can move by a certain number of sizes. A tight bodice, layered hem, beaded seam or missing fabric can change what is feasible. If the work cannot be confirmed for your date, compare another gown before committing.
Keep a useful backup
A backup is a gown and fitting plan you can actually act on, not a second unconfirmed production estimate. Decide which details are essential and which you can change. If no available gown has a practical alteration route, ask about another style or size.
